We collect as little personal data as possible. This page explains what we process, why, and what your rights are under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is:

Designer 2 j.d.o.o. operates this website under the name FindStayAI. You can reach us at any time at info@findstayai.com about anything on this page.

2. What we process and why

Visiting the website

When you open our pages, our hosting provider's servers automatically log technical data: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, your browser and operating system, and the referring page. We need this to deliver the website and keep it secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept only for a limited period and are not used to identify you.

Using the AI search

When you use our AI search, the text you type (for example destination, dates, number of guests and your wishes) is processed to find matching stays. To do this we send your request to:

• our AI provider, which interprets your request and writes the answer; and
• our booking partners, to look up matching properties and prices.

This is necessary to provide the service you ask for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Please don't enter sensitive personal information such as health data, ID numbers or payment details into the search. We don't use your searches to build a profile of you.

Emails you send us

If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and keep them only as long as needed for that conversation.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't use social media plugins. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading a page does not send data to third-party font services.

When you click through to a booking partner, you leave our website. The partner may then set its own cookies (for example to attribute your booking to us). This is governed by the partner's own privacy and cookie policy. If we ever add analytics or other cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

4. Who receives data

• Hosting provider — stores and serves the website.
• AI provider — processes the text of your search.
• Booking partners — receive your search criteria to return matching stays, and your data once you choose to book on their site.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). In that case the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

5. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email us at info@findstayai.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Croatia this is the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), azop.hr.

7. Changes

We will update this policy when our service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
