Search stays in Makarska RivieraThe Makarska Riviera runs from Brela to Gradac, a string of towns — Brela, Baška Voda, Makarska, Tučepi, Podgora — tucked on a thin strip beneath the grey cliffs of Biokovo. The beaches are the draw: bright white pebble shelving into jewel-toned turquoise water, shaded by old pines. Brela's Punta Rata and Tučepi's long shore are among the best-known.
It's a beach-first, family-friendly region with a huge choice of apartments right by the water — our data shows a large share of stays within a couple of hundred metres of the sea. For a break from the beach, the Biokovo Skywalk sits on a glass platform over 1,200 metres up, with the whole coast laid out below.
